New Friends

Interacting with people can be a bit hard on occasion. The people you run into have many different personalities, and trying to find a universal approach is easier said than done. Luckily, we have common traits that connect us all. We’ll show you five behaviors that will help you get along with anyone.

Kill Them With Kindness

Writer Christian Nestell Bovee once said, “Kindness is a language the dumb can speak and the deaf can hear and understand.” Kindness goes a lot way, and it can bring more eyes your way. Don’t do good things just for the sake of attention, though. Most people can easily decipher forced kindness.

Laughter Is The Best Medicine

Laughter is very important when going through the hardships of life. Sometimes, laughter can make a person’s whole day. Being able to make people laugh will also make you the life of the party. And don’t forget, laughter is contagious. You can make others laugh by laughing yourself.

All Red Everything

It might surprise you to know that wearing red can easily turn heads when you’re out and about. Men are attracted to the color red, and whoever is wearing it. Known as the red dress effect, this has been traced all the way back to 10,000 B.C.

Wild In Your Smile

Having a great smile can show people you’re easily approachable. Smiling is also a great way to combat depression by releasing serotonin and endorphins. Certain kinds of smiling can even aid in getting that first date. A survey run by Coffee Meets Bagel stated that 71% of ladies got attention for smiling with a head tilt.

Have A Listen

If you’re trying to make it through the daily struggle of interpersonal relationships, listening is crucial. Being able to understand what someone is saying can strengthen your bond. If you’re really trying to show that you’re aware, have zero distractions around you. Having your phone out while someone is confiding in you is a big turn off.
