Trying to get a good night’s sleep is almost impossible today. No matter what you do, you’ll always seem to wake up groggy. Fortunately, there’s a perfect cure for this kind of madness. Here’s five ways to fool yourself into thinking you’ve gained enough sleep.
The Eternal Pick Me Up
It’s really hard to find one person that isn’t sipping on coffee before going to work. One normal cup of coffee contains 95 mg of caffeine. This is more than enough to get your through the day. Don’t drink too much coffee, though. An overabundance of caffeine can cause you to crash.
Get Some Quick Rest
For all of us, naps are a godsend. A quick hour nap can give you the energy you need to focus on your plans. If you’re at work, though, this may get a bit tricky. Try to get a powernap during your lunch break. The most effective powernaps run from five to 10 minutes.
Here Comes The Sun
Unless you’re a vampire, light has many advantages. Awakening us from our slumber is certainly one of them. Our bodies have been taught since birth that brightness normally means a time to be active. In order to really feel awake, take a walk in the park for a few minutes.

It may seem like a bore heading to the gym right before a long day at the office. This method does have its benefits, though. Aside from shaping your body, it helps prevent your from being groggy. If you’re looking to make things fun, bring a gym buddy along with you.

Many times, our poor sleep schedule revolves around our lifestyle. We’re on the laptop until three in the morning or having a late night snack. In order to get the best sleep possible, avoid these things an hour before bedtime. Instead of getting only three hours of sleep, you’ll probably get the full eight.
