Have you heard of Jay Cardiello? He’s an amazing personal trainer. Cardiello’s worked with the likes of 50 Cent and Kevin Love! So, if his advice is good enough for them, it’s good enough for us…

Recently, he shared his effective 8-week workout with Men’s Health, which includes his innovative cardio routine, but here’s the trick, there’s no running involved!

How Does It Work?

Intrigued by this approach? This is how it works. There are ten different exercises (as listed below). Do each of them for half a minute, once you’ve done them all, repeat all ten activities another two times.

This is a fabulous 20-minute workout, that’s sure to get the heart pumping!For the best results, do this four days a week.

Top Tip: schedule time in your diary to workout, this helps to make exercise a priority, stopping ‘life’ from getting in the way.

  2. Skipping Backward Circle
  3. Alternating Leg Swings
  4. Lunge to Leg Swing (Right Leg)
  5. Switch-up Lunges (Right Leg)
  6. Lunge Jumps (Right Leg).
  7. Lunge to Leg Swing (Left Leg)
  8. Switch-up Lunges (Left Leg
  9. Lunge Jumps (Left Leg)
  10. Burpees
